The whole complaints process feels broken and ineffective. There seems very little help or real guidance or mediation. It’s soul destroying. Neighbours of a Primary School in South Yorkshire
The nearby School is hiring out a Multi-Use Sport Area for young people and have totally mismanaged the events which has led to unruly youths running amok, loitering, using foul language, causing constant obnoxious noise (such as banging of gates), brick throwing, kicking footballs into gardens and cars, trespass, littering, urinating at the rear of properties, grafitti etc. This is a weekly occurrence.
This has been very stressful to live with weekly for residents nearby, it is infuriatingly difficult to get any real action from the council who has been extremely difficult and fragmented. The Police don’t really show any real care or presence. It takes up a lot of time. The whole complaints process feels broken and ineffective. There seems very little help or real guidance or mediation. It’s soul destroying.
It was initially reported as Statutory Nuisance during dark winter months. The acting school head has refused to talk despite many requests.Since the lighter nights the residents have gathered more evidence of ASB and each time an incident is witnessed it has been reported to the police and council (out of hours) who do not do very much. A community trigger was actioned and appealed, but nothing has come of this.
